Jay M. Borowsky   
Jay Borowsky is the principal at the Law Offices of Jay M. Borowsky.  An attorney practicing more than 28 years, he engages in practice business law and litigation, and charter school law.

He counsels small and midsize companies in all business aspects ranging from corporate formation to succession planning.  He also represents these clients if litigation is required to resolve corporate disputes.  Mr. Borowsky is dedicated to his business clients, and unlike most attorneys, he has a business degree, an MBA from Temple University.  

He is also skilled in dispute resolution, serving as an AIRROC Certified arbitrator as well as an arbitrator and mediator in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas.

Mr. Borowsky has wide ranging experience both domestically and internationally, having worked for London Market and major domestic US (re)insurers   Prior to the formation of his practice, Mr. Borowsky was employed by Enstar Group Ltd. subsidiaries in both England and the United States as vice president of claims and counsel.  

Mr. Borowsky is also the founder and first board president of Independence Charter School, a top performing school in Philadelphia.  From this unique vantage point, he applies his experience in advising charter school applicants in the approval process, representing them before local school districts and in appeals before the state charter school appeal board.
